FOCUS PULLER

 

I have been working as a FOCUS PULLER for over 7 years. I am based in Riga, Latvia. I have gained broad experience both in international cooperation and in the Baltic States. Within my time in the film-making industry, I’ve held various positions. I've been a driver, a Runner, and a Video Assistant. For several years I have worked as a Camera 2ndAC. All of this has given me a very good experience and insight, first about teamwork, second the individuality and responsibility of each role. Then, going a step further and becoming a Focus Puller, I have learnt to value first and foremost the responsibility within the camera department organization. I’ve had various collaborations with Directors of Photography,  Directors, Productions. These new experiences have allowed me to develop and advance within my profession in the face of a wide variety of technologies, capabilities and solutions.
